Wednesday 29th April
I really need to wake up before 9am as I end up feeling like the day is nearly over lol. I had so much to do, I was wondering how I was going to fit it all in!
I had a 121 session with one of my writers and then were visited by Supreme Enterianment who came up for ameeting from bristol. I was flattered when they said they looked upon me as a mentor. I will be doing an event with them in Bristol on 14th August called Supreme Dance...will let you know when more info is available!
Then I went off to the Tuned On Seminar at Symphony Hall, it was a great insight from those working in the music business. Cali born rapper Slcikmouth decided to come down from London on my recommendation. It is amazing the amount of people I have met this year who have never come to Brumtown!
Anyway look out for his forthcoming release:

Black International Film Festival
So today I had a very productive meeting with the founder of the Black International Film Festival. As part of the film festival they host the Music & Video Awards. This year yours truly will be heavily involved with the execution of this event which I welcome the challenge and look forward to bringing it up another level.
It will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) on 31st october. I will be recruiting a team of talented individuals to work alongside me. This event has seen some very hi profile actors and celebrities attend and scoop awards.
The website is currently getting updated but there is some stuff you can see at www.biffestival.co.uk

REAL DEAL COMEDY JAM - SUN 26th April
As usual Tru Life was a Platinum sponsor for the Real Deal Comedy Jam. So myself, the music editor (Zahra), the theatre & Film Editor (Elishah) and our Communication Officer (Makeda) headed down to the Alexandra Theatre to watch a good show. I love the fact that I live in town and can walk everywhere lol So we were at the theatre within 5 mins.
The show started a bit late but that was because people were still arriving 30mins after it was due to start. KOJO was the resident host on this show and you should check out his show on MTV Base. The show had a great line up and I enjoyed the show. We walked over the road to Sobar for the after party. It was a very nice venue, a first for e as I do not really go out much to be honest.
Shout out to Nathan, Sammy, Damian and NZinga for bringing us a great line up yet again and all the other sponsors!
Next one is in June so I hope to see y'all there!
